This presentation will explore strategies from the evidence-based model of Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), designed to help individuals detach from challenging emotions, stay grounded in the present, and take purposeful actions aligned with their core values. We will also share case studies highlighting how these strategies have supported both educators and students in managing emotional challenges.

The presentation will address what Generative AI is, provide an overview of the work of the GenAI Committee including the draft guidance for staff and students, and share updates on the piloting of GenAI tools for staff and students. The committee recognizes that AI is a powerful tool that presents both opportunities and challenges
