This is an introduction to Bridges and how to implement Bridges in the classroom. Teachers will gain an understanding of the program, the format it follows and how it ties in to the success of student's learning. They will dive into the online platform and see how they can implement that in the classroom, as well as how to implement Number Corner daily. Teachers will see how the Standards of Mathematical Practice are incorporated into daily lessons. Finally, teachers will gain an understanding about Dreambox and how imperative it is to use Dreambox daily in the classroom with students.
IXL is a new comprehensive K12 online curriculum utilized throughout the district as a supplemental intervention tool. The platform provides individualized guidance & real-time analytics in grade-level and subject specific modules including math, language arts, social studies and science. IXL’s real-time diagnostics and actionable analytics, help drive a personalized learning experience for each student aligned to state, Common Core, and NGSS standards. This session provides an introduction to essential IXL tools for daily instruction and takes a deeper dive into the utilization of IXL’s diagnostics for monitoring student progress.
Join us for AbleSpace: The Basics—a Start Strong training designed to introduce Intervention Specialists to the district’s new data collection platform. As part of the 2025–2026 rollout, all Intervention Specialists will be required to use AbleSpace to collect data and track specially designed instruction (SDI). This session will provide hands-on tutorials covering core features, including viewing calendars and caseloads, collecting student data, and downloading progress reports.
